Deaths. Died, at the residence of Mr. N.A. CRENSHAW, in Powhatan,
on
Sabbath morning, 8th instant, Mr. John H. COLQUITT, formerly of
Richmond, but more recently of New Orleans.--Mr. COLQUITT was,
it is
believed, about 33 years of age--he had been for several years
a member
of the Episcopal Church. The writer has known him from boyhood--and
in
reference to his character, as well before as after he united
with the
Church, that all who knew him, will respond to the sentiment,
that he
was an honest man and a consistent Christian--His latter end was
peace.

Joseph H. COLQUITT, near this city, John COLQUITT, formerly of
Cumberland, County, Va. aged 72 years.
