  • Austin, Melvina vs Austin, Jessee F- o.b. 2 page 229, Jessee did not appear, court deceidd that Melvina had proven Adultry and Jessee was barred from every marrying again and ordered to pay court cost $21.78, divorce granted 9/9/1880

  • Beverly, Louisa C vs Beverly, George W - o.b. 2 page 267  George refused to appear, pled, or answer. court felt adultry had sufficently been proven. louisa was restored hte rights, liberties, and priviledges of a single person. George was restrained from marrying again, was refrained from interfering with or disturbing Louisa in anyway. Louisa was given land with saw mill that had been purchased from Solomon Wells, also given milk cows, 6 hogs, 4 head of sheep, all household and kitchen furniture. Louisa kept all property in her own right and she was awarded alimony for her and her infant children, George was ordered to pay off property. Louisa was granted custody of Caroline and Samantha. George was restrained from taking children out of the care of Louisa. George was ordered to pay court costs of $28.33
  • Begley, Laura M vs Begley, Samuel - o.b. 2 page 270, 1882, Laura W E was granted the divorce and custody and control of children. Samuel restrained from marrying again and ordered to pay court cost of $27.17½.
  • Blevins, Martha A vs Blevins, George W - o.b. 2 page 311, granted 9/10/1882. George did not appear, pled or answer. George has beed twice charged with felony, exhibits A and B?, proven. Martha was restored all the rights and priviledges of a single person. Martha was granted custody and control of children, Alexnader and Nannie. George was restrained fromtaking children from her care without her permission and ordered to pay court costs of $28.76.
  • Bates, John W vs Bates, Letha J - o.b. 2 page 423 4/1885. John was granted divorce and Letha was restrained and enjoined from ever marrying again.
  • Buchanan, Noah M vs Buchana, Nellie B - o.b. 3 page 230 4/1890. Noah did not prove his case and it was dismissed 4/14/1890.
  • Belcher, Marshall vs Belcher, Mary - o.b. 3 page 244 4/1890. Marshalls case was denounced 4/14/1890.
  • Brummett, John C vs Brummett, Nancy - o.b. 3 page 327 4/1891. Nancy did not appear and the charge of adultry made by John was established by the testimony in the cause. Nancy waas restrained and prohibited from ever marrying. 4/15/1891.
  • Buchanan, T G vs Buchanan, Louisa - o.b. 3 page 376 9/1891. Charge of adultry was fully made against Louisa and she was restrained from ever marrying again. T G was given exclusive care, control and custody of children Mary Jane age 12, Margaret age 10, Clayton age 8, Carry age 6, Visha age 4, and John age 2. Louisa was ordered to pay court costs. 9/16/1891.
  • Bishop, W J vs Bishop, Summersville - o.b. 3 page 327 5/1891. 
  • Bolling, Sarah vs Bolling, James B - o.b. 3 page 390, o.b. 4 page 104 9/1892
  • Baines, Bell vs Baines, John - o.b. 3 page 309, 12/1892.
  • Bartley, John H vs Bartley, Lucinda - o.b. 4 page 307 12/1892. Lucinda was charged with adultry and restrained from ever marrying again. 12/8/1892.
  • Buchanan, W A vs Buchanan, Mary E - o.b. 5, page 122 1894, removed to Russell Co., case dismissed.
  • Boles, D F vs Boles, E L ?
  • Bice, Delilia vs Bice, Daniel - o.b. 5, page 281, 9/1894. Daniel abandoned Delilia without any cause. Each party was restored to the rights of a single person. Daneil ordered to pay court cost 9/19/1894. May 31, 1920 Delilia was living in Fremont Va and wrote to Wise County stating that Daniel Bise had died and that she was his widow and wanted to get her pension papers. She included a copy of the invoice decree?
  • Blevins, George vs Blevins, Socia - o.b. 5 page 364 23/1894. Socia was found guilty of adultry and Geroge was granted divorce and restored all rights of a single person.
  • Beverly, Pheba J vs Beverly, John F - o.b. 5 page 364, 12/1894. John F deserted Pheba for 3 years and was found guilty of adultry 5 years prior to ? of sent. Bonds of matromony disolved between Pheba and John F and Pheba to be granted divorce. john F was restrained from ever marrying again and Pheba recover court costs from John F.
  • Beverly, Matilda, vs Beverly, Joel - o.b. 5 page 438 12/1894. remanded to rules?

 
  • Griffin Collins vs Rachel A Collins  decided May 21, 1875
  • Isaac Cock vs Nancy Cockrin  Isaac didn't show--Bonds were dissolved--both were restored rights as a single person.
  • Pleasant Collins vs Polly Ann Collins--Adultry was proved--Bonds were dissolved--both were restored rights as a single person.Decided Apr 1877. Pleasant was to recover from Polly Ann Collins costs of $22.52.
  • R L Cantrell vs Marrion Cantrell--12/15/1895--Adultry was proved against Marrion Cantrell. Bonds were dissolved. Each hereby divorced.
  • Nancy Collins vs. Berry Collins-- Apr 1879 Berry Collins failed to appeaar--Adultry was proved--Bonds of matrimony were dissolved. Both parties restored the rights of a single person. Nancy was to recover costs of $21.75.
  • Russell Collins vs Jane Collins--Russell granded divorce on grounds of adultry.
  • Cosby Cox vs Berry Cox--Berry willfully abandoned Cosby for 5 years. Cosby granted divorce.
  • Arminda Cantrell vs William Cantrell--William Cantrell was a non resident of the State of Virginia at the time. He failed to appear after being served. Charges of adultry were satisfied. Both parties restored the rights of a single person. She was to recover costs $20.22
  • Starlin Collins vs Rachel Collins--Rachel was proven to be guilty of adultry and Starlin was given the divorce. Rachel was restrained from ever marrying again.
